Seems like Covid has come to haunt me again. Last Saturday I was feeling a bit tired than the usual so I decided to rest and sleep. After waking up I already had a slight fever. Then Sunday came my fever got worst and was down the whole day. Today Monday I felt a bit better but I decided to take the test after breakfast to confirm if this was Covid and the results was Positive.
So far the symptoms are a bit manageable than the first time I had this. I was hospitalized and almost got critical. This time it seems like it's just an ordinary flu where fever, body pains and runny nose are the only symptoms and nothing more. My oxygen levels seems not affected as it remains at 95% at this time.

Good for you then that you haven't had any experience getting the virus. This is technically my second bout but comparing to the first one this seems to be manageable as I am just in my 4th day and symptoms are already fading. I guess the vaccines are working on me.

@allknowing Since I can compare the previous one when I wasn't vaccinated with the current one, I know the vaccine is far from perfect but it has significantly weakened the virus. The way I recovered, which was difficult and slowly, is very different from how it is now, which is virtually exactly like the flu. A couple of days fever and after that I am slowly getting back again.

@rsa101 You're welcome. Hopefully, you won't have any long term affects from having Covid twice.

@DaddyEvil Yeah that is also my worry but I had the worst of it but didn't get some long term effect on me. Maybe this time it won't be. Hopefully.

Oh gosh, I am SO sorry you have Covid again. But I am glad it's not as bad as the first time. Rest and heal well and quickly.

@Tampa_girl7 I guess being vaccinated has its benefits already. My body was able to respond with the help of medications for the fever everything went well.

@CarolDM I feel I have recovered already as fever did not happen overnight tomorrow I think is my 5th day which is the required quarantine for vaccinated ones. Although I do have slight runny nose and mild coughs which is always the side effects of covid.

I am sorry that you have COVID again, but at least it is not as serious as the first time. I hope that you get better soon! Drink lots of warm drinks, and get lots of rest.

@rsa101 There is no way to predict if a person will get COVID, I keep a mask in my bag, and if I am in a place where I hear a lot of coughing, I put it on. Maybe it will protect me, maybe not.

Have you vaccinated? Don't forget to consume vitamin c every day, and take a rest.
