Happy Navratri From India

A nine-day festival started in India from 26 September, which will last on Dussehra (A major festival in India). Navratri is dedicated to nine form of a goddess and is celebrated in many parts of India with night gatherings and dances known as Garbha.

This is interesting that Navratri has arrived this year very soon. When we were child, we used to take our books to temple for pooja and books where not taken for the entire period of Navaratri. haa..those where good old days. Did any one know, other than people from India that its a festival of goddess Durga and her nine forms which are worshipped each and every nine days.
