Atascocita police with a huge alligator in Texas

My knowledge of alligators is that even though there are many of them are located in Florida as well as states such as Louisiana and other states that have huge bodies of water where alligators call home, a huge alligator was seen in the city of Atascocita Texas one week ago that caused the eyewitnesses of the 10 foot alligator to make a call to the authorities to send help to get rid of the alligator as soon as possible. The incident took place one week ago. Since the police in Atascocita could not deal with the task to remove the 10 foot alligator by themselves, they contacted a wildlife specialist who covered the face of the alligator with a hoodie and then tie up the alligator before taking the animal aboard a tow truck with the assistance of a tow truck driver who placed the alligator into the bed of his tow truck to take the alligator to a body of water nearby. When I lived in the suburbs of New Orleans, there are many bayous located in the city. Since Atascocita is in the area of Houston Texas 30 miles northeast, there are many bayous in that area as well. No one was hurt in the incident with the alligator who is a giant compared to other alligators.

That is a huge alligator. I’m glad he was taken to a safe place.

@RubyHawk Based on the size of the alligator, he looks like a giant.

That's dangerous. The residents should be vigilant of any huge alligator on the loose.

You are right since alligators are not animals that are friendly.

I have to say it when an alligator has to get to the store what else do you expect him to do?

That is true since none of us have the courage to tell the alligator what to do.

The city of Houston like New Orleans has a lot of bodies of water like rivers or creeks.
