Do you meet your Ressolutions and Targets

It's a fine and bright morning here in my country. It's my hope that this finds you well. So I just figure out on my set ressolutions and targets that I have made in the beginning of this year 2022. I eventually found out that I have only achieved 23% of the set targets. So with only the three months remaining towards the end of this year I don't see myself achieving it. What you take on this?

I stopped making new year resolutions a long time back. Or any resolution for that matter. It never worked for me and was demotivating. Now I live each day, making a to do list for the day and trying to finish as much as I can on that list. It has been effective this way with me.

Glad to learn that you accomplish your to do list. I still can't afford to accomplish that too.

@Treborika I think setting goals and resolutions can be a good thing and a bad thing. It really depends. It can be a bad thing because if these targets are not reached, we can end up feeling bad about it. But it's a good thing too if it can make us feel good on what we have achieved and provoke us to do more. I think it just depends really on what type of person we are and what we are trying to achieve.

@Treborika That is fair enough. Whatever makes you happy is the main thing.

I don't want regrets in life my dear. That's why I have decided not to set any ressolutions and thank God with whatever I make in life.

I don't have targets. I have daily goals and I accomplish them.

I have stopped planning and making resolutions in 2020 when the world was about to end lol. It’s nice to have some short term goals. Good luck and hope you at least get to 50% by the end of the year!
