Do you believe things happen for a reason?

I've always felt this way but not really asked many people. I listened to my elderly friend no matter that I would feel like a burden if I did. She was right. I have been thanked, and they bragged on me, for helping when it didn't feel like I had done much. One lady said " I believe things happen for a reason, that's why you're here." I ran into an acquaintance in a parking lot, she told me what had happened behind my back. I was thankful. Made decision's for me easier. Went to pay a bill, once again things were done behind my back, I didn't think she cared but did, she said " I thought, oh my God, I hope he didn't do anything to Angie." So.......... People do see the difference in people that supposed to love me but obviously don't. With that being said, life is not as bad or depressing as it was 10 days ago, because I knew I was not crazy, I just love to much and give benefit of doubt. If I die today my mind is at peace. Well, do you believe that things e for a reason?

Yes, everything happens for a reason be it bad or good. Bad teaches you to rectify the present and the good to move forward successfully and happily.

I think that often things happen for a reason. We not immediately realize what is good or bad for us, sometimes blinded by love, but the others see.

That people are put in out path, by God, for a reason.

I don’t know it’s random or if everything happens for a reason. I’d like to think it’s for a reason

I believe that the reasons behind what happens are bigger than we are. They are so much bigger. Yes, things happen for a reason and sometimes we spend our entire lives figuring out what that reason is.

I do and I don't Angie. I mean I do think good things happen for a reason, but the bad things..nah, don't believe there is a reason, at least not to me. But I am so glad to hear you are on the up now and not the down of it.

As I look back in my life I know everything that happened was God being in control even though there is one thing I wish I could go back in time to change.

I definitely do believe things happen for a reason even if we don't know the reason at the time it's happening.

I take the view we can learn from all our experiences. Do what is needed and accept the results that may not be what we had intended. Things happen out of the blue when we least expect them but they strengthen us.

In the movie "four feathers" A Muslim saves a Christian who was lost in the desert and in a state of delirium for lack of water. After recuperating, the Christian asks why, given that they were mortal enemies. "I had no choice, God put you in my way" was the Muslim's response.

I believed this until I lost Dustin. That all went out the window. How can losing your only child happen for a reason after all.
