Wow so this month seemed to fly by , like I thought it might. In have really been tracking goals much in my usual sense of the word. I'll have to pick back up.
September started calmly enough - the weather staying hot out making a lot of working outside uncomfortable.
In the middle of September, mom and I even went to the Neon Fun Jungle (AKA. State of Iowa) for a couple days. We saw the Surf Ballroom (famous for it's rock and roll history), took a boat ride, and met up with my cousin. I'll write more about it. Had fun, didn't get to see London, France, or even all that many underpants... alas I didn't get to met the # 1 denizen of the Neon Fun Jungle, that being our own @xander6464 . he said something about being too busy time traveling in order to save the world but secretly I suspect it was something to do with the international jello salad competition ... Just kidding, I don't even know if there is a jello salad competition.
Then, after being home only a couple of days we performed at the MN Renaissance Festival. Such fun. We stayed over and even though it was exhausting we had a good time with it.
Still no time to unpack because currently I'm back at the doghouse. lol - dog/house sitting
I did try some new recipes. Chicken and dressing crock pot, and Garlic Parmesean Spaghetti Squash (good, needed some adjustments on both), and homemade cottage cheese which, while I feel like I learned something was in no way , shape or form as good as store bought.
Here's to a lovely October for all us

I'm glad you and your mom have been having fun this month.
It has finally cooled off nicely here in my part of Missouri. We've been having temps at 45F in the early morning and warming up to mid-70s during the daytime. That feels wonderful to me! (I am still wearing jean shorts, tank top and sandals when we leave the house in the early morning and laughing at Pretty for wearing a winter coat. )
We both have doctor appointments every week, so we do get out of the house but not as much as you do. (I had a dentist appointment yesterday morning and had the molar on the bottom right pulled after I shattered it a few days ago. The dentist said is wasn't infected but he couldn't save it, either.)
And that's everything I know in a nutshell.

You aren't supposed to know about the international jello salad competition but don't worry. When the Men In Black show up, just give them some homemade cottage cheese and everything will be fine.
How were the Onion Rings? Does the NFJ still make the best ones?
