I decided to stop by rather than calling them like you said and they told me I was hired but there was some sort of mix up with the application paper and they couldn't get a hold of me.Luckily I went to see them. For the mylot part, I'll l try to stop by and tell you guys all about it.I'm really excited and hope that everything goes well. How are things on your side,any good news lately?

@sica98 Oh, wow! That was pure luck on your part, then! I'd like that, when you aren't super tired or busy with real life.

I got a letter from the disability insurance people yesterday saying they'd received my application and were checking the information I'd provided. As long as they didn't find anything wrong with the information, then they'd move forward with my application. It's not much, but better than nothing.

@DaddyEvil I'd like to think so.I'm glad I went there.It was nerve wracking not knowing then.I will start on this coming monday.I hope I'll be able to make time on mylot and not be to busy and tired like most people with their fulltime job.I read a lot here that they barely spend time here when they are working and having family obligation and all. I'd say it's better news also then for your insurance application.

I certainly hope it is on the rewarding side as well...being able to learn new baking skill and maybe enjoy eating them as well

.I don't think I can eat them there but who knows Shhhh...

@sica98 I noticed at the end here of your response that you said you truly loved it in the past tense. Do you still love to bake and do you do a lot of baking at home? I hope it all works out for you. Is your goal to have your own bakery or shop where you can sell your baked goods?

Good luck with your new job. Yes, you need to focus on your job as being new to it you need to learn skills. That's fine if you are still spending some time here on the site. Having a full time job I also spend less time here but I am happy to be here even for the time I get as that's sufficient for me to relax.

I find mylot to be relaxing and fun at the same time.That is why I joined in the first place. Right now I have to focus and concentrate on the job though.
