It's Sunday, more than anything its festive week here in India. The Navratri (nine-nights) and Durga puja celebrations are on. And as a result, we are planning to eat out tonight. After the pandemic, this would probably be our 2nd or 3rd visit to a restaurant.
In general, how often do you eat out?

Covid is still here in the US so I don't go out to eat at all.

@Rimps85 Cases are not rare here in the US. Even with the vaccinations, people are still catching Covid. But yes, case count has decreased greatly in India. You are correct.

Hardly ever. It MIGHT be three or four times a year. Even on nights when I don't cook, most of the time it's delivery. It's just so much cheaper to eat at home which is the main reason, and eating out is reserved mostly for special occasions and when we are meeting up with other people.

This is month, next week to I'm celebrating my birthday, which was October 2, but have a blood work for my doctor on 11th, weather permitting, so after my blood draw, I'm celebrating! McDonald's burger and fries & apple fritters - apple fritters free birthday gift, Foodland Supermarket, free cake slice gift and Baskin Robbins free scoop of child size scoop... planning jamoca fudge regular scoop too. Going to get some Bumble Bee tuna cans too from Foodland Supermarket. So, for special occasions and rewards treat I get a take home treat from outside.

If we have money, we eat to our favorite eatery every Sunday after our Sunday Church services.

Not too often. And it s not because of covid but because of the costs and the kids.

@Rimps85 if you put it that way may be because of covid reasons...but i am.not sure all these high prices are all because of covid

@Luli_hope to some extent the price rise is due to covid

Not very often. Say, once every month or once every two months. We're sort of trying to tighten our belts in this day and age of inflation. We all went out on Father's Day last month.

I haven't eaten a real meal in a real restaurant for a long time, but there is a Barista cafe that I grab a cheap tuna sandwich sometimes before I go to the music school to teach. So I don't really count that! It would be nice to go out to a real restaurant, but as my husband is now disabled, in a wheelchair and can't sit for more than 15 minutes so I think I would have to go by myself. . . not fun.

Every now and then. I prefer home cooked meals. I mean almost all of the things you can eat in restaurants, usually cheaper and healthier cause you know what and how you put in it.
I'm not freakishly controlling about it at all, but you know. Just my own preference.
