Do you prefer to dine alone or with friends? / myLot

I have a lot of colleagues from different departments. Once i had lunch on my own but due to peak hours, lack of seats and tables, my colleague had to share table with me. Well i dont mind but i do mind when i am eating, i dont like to talk. My dad told me dont talk when you eat. Concentrate on chewing your food. It had became a habit for me. Silent eating. However this lady ask a lot of questions, personal questions while i am eating. I am annoyed. Hence therrafter, i prefer to dine alone. What about you

One thing is to dine with friends and quite another is to do it with a colleague. I love to talk with my few friends and I invite them for dinner. But I don´t like to talk with just anyone while I´m eating.

I enjoy eating alone while reading a good book once in a while. I definitely wouldn’t want to eat with a casual acquaintance.

Even I prefer to eat alone but when someone is talking even I should talk or else they will feel bad

Yes, silent eating is best, but i dont mind talking while eating but i prefer talking after finish eating

I brouht my own lunch to the office. If I were you, I might just want to dine with a colleague who is somewhat like a friend, or I prefer to dine alone.

At work I would not like colleagues talking about work or colleagues when having lunch. I had a few friends who would always eat together and it was a rule not to discuss work at the lunch table.

If I don't have someone to dine in with, I can go alone. I can eat fast because I can concentrate when I am alone.

I enjoy dining with my friends and my family. I don't want to dine alone in a restaurant especially if there are lots of people but there are times that i dine by myself.
