Do you know the fruit in the picture?
Do you have it too in your place?
We call that fruit Rambutan here in the Philippines.
This fruit is in season now.
We have it because my brother send us our share from the Rambutan tree of our parents.
It is related to lychee that is why it is also called as hairy lychee.
Hairy red or green outside but soft and smooth inside.
When you peel it, you can have the translucent white sweet taste. It has a seed in the middle.
Its scientific name is Nephelium Lappaceum.
Have a bite guys.

It really does look like lychee but a variation.
