Would you give your phone number to strangers?

Yesterday i was having late lunch at 3pm at my working place. Sitting opposite me were 2 aunties, those rich ones asking for the other table 2 ladies phone numbers. At first i thought they knew each other but no, because the rich lady asked for their names and phone numbers instead ! Maybe she likes their accents, that is what i overheard. But, why would anyone give his personal contact number to strangers ? Not afraid of scammers ?

Yup, really do not understand why some people are ok with giving out personal contacts to straangers. Thanks for sharing

We have to be careful with these kind of things, i will never give my personal number to strangers, but if they come to my shop and ask for business number, i dont mind at all.

@peachpurple If I actually want them to contact me, I'd give them my current phone number. If I don't like them, I can always block them from calling me.

No, I see no reason why anyone would want a stranger’s phone number and I wouldn’t give mine to anyone I don’t know.
