Christmas is fast approaching…

Christmas is that one day in a year where we all gather with out families to spend time with them. And as we enter the ber months we start buying gifts in the hopes that by Christmas we have already gotten our loved ones gifts. Do you buy gifts in advance? How early do you go out and buy? I try to watch out for deals and try to buy some as early as October so that by December I won’t be rushing things and just buying what I see just so I can give a gift. I give gifts that I think my loved ones would love to receive and that is why I start early.

Christmas is not celebrated in our faith. But I have many friends who are Christian and I take some gift for them when they invite us. I keep gifts for my children under the Christmas tree in our house.

I don't exchange gifts with friends for Christmas. But I do buy gift vouchers of toy shops for kids in the family.

Same for us within my side of the family. More for the children than the adults since they anticipate this every single year. The fun of receiving gifts are more exciting for the kids than adults nowadays.

I used to do it in December because of Christmas sales but it was just too time consuming. I always had to rush it and had a hard time deciding which one to buy. Sometimes though its better last minute bec you get to give what they want for that season than buying it way too early.

I try to be positive about this holiday as I love it. But family issues have ruined the time. It is okay because I have my faith.

Same for me when it comes to christmas with my parents and siblings. We opt to buy gifts for the kids because we honestly want it more for the kids than us adults. I thought we were the only ones who did that.

I do buy gifts for my family and a few close friends. Whenever I go out and see something nice I buy it and keep till Christmas. And if anyone remaining for whom I have not bought anything in advance then I go shopping last minute.

@sublime03 Yes indeed it is more convenient. In October I have a few birthdays of family and friends and I usually go shopping for them. So shopping time starts from October for me.

Isn’t it more convenient to buy gifts slowly till Christmas. I just find it easier to complete my list this way.
