It is apparently Europe's longest bridge and links Crimea to Russia. The Russian army has been using it to bring supplies to support its war efforts in Ukraine. Russia bragged that the bridge was spectacularly well-protected by like 20 different things including military dolphins. Well, as we've seen, Ukraine isn't effing around and they have managed to destroy the bridge. A large section of roadway has been sunk into the sea and there also was a large fire on the railroad side of the bridge.
Ukraine has not directly claimed responsibility for the destruction but has announced that commemorative stamps will be made. That's as good as when they made them of the Snake Island Ukrainian soldiers telling a Russian warship to F off.
Darth Putin is one of my favorite parody Twitter accounts that comments on the war in Ukraine. Today it reports that the Crimean bridge made a "goodwill gesture" and became a tunnel.
I absolutely am amazed at how bada$$ Ukrainians are and how they are absolutely kicking Russia's a$$ in this war. I am so sorry that their people have to endure this and that there have been so many Ukrainians killed but they are beyond amazing in dealing with Russia.

I agree. The Ukrainians are not taking this lying down.
