Adults not allowed unless accompanied by children

I saw this sign many years ago in Australia. It looks funny at first sight/read, but makes sense from a Child Protection point of view. This was at the entrance of a children's park. Adults (without children) who are potentially child abusers or want to take advantage of children can target these places. I guess with these matters, it's much better to be safe than sorry later.

You're right about the Child Protection bit but on first seeing the sign I thought it was meant to be funny. Here is one a bit similar but about dogs.

Well, that's a sign that will make children feel empowered. We mostly see that children to be accompanied by adults. This is the opposite.. Well, this might not be a full proof method but at least one attempt in right direction. Many child abuse cases are from the dear and near ones. They are the family members who are supposed to protect the child

You so right. I guess they also need to also watch the workers operating the rides and the workers selling the snacks. You will be surprise sometimes some family members are the perpetrators too.
