My mind is still on yesterday's adventure. (Today I probably will make a double batch of gingersnap cookies after going to the grocery store. Whoopie.)
Yesterday sure was different. The photo shows what we did to get on the trail to town- we had to cross a highway. I walked behind until we got onto the trail because the folks with the horses were concerned that I could fall out of the little cart. So there they were- all crossing the highway. We had another person standing with a giant stop sign to stop traffic until we all got across that highway.
Town was fun. Riding at the back of a little horse parade was fun. I saw pretty houses, a greenhouse, backyards and even a shop where a man was busy sculpting. We had to cross a busy street so the horse lady- wrangler? leaned down and hit the street button so that we'd get green.
Here I am, back to normal, typing around Beau the Siamese cat.

It looks like the person holding the stop sign is trying to tell you to get your butt across the street.
I'm glad you and your hubby had such a good day yesterday.

@DaddyEvil The stop sign person was nice but you are right- inside he was probably wishing me and my dragon cane would get going. At least seven cars waited on us.

@sallypup If I was in one of those cars I would have been wishing you'd get on across the street so I could go about my business.

@DaddyEvil I hear you. I felt guilty about going slow but falling in the middle of a highway is pretty awful.

@shaggin I barely have any balance whatsoever these days. The seat in that cart was tiny but we put our feet up for balance. Interesting to me fact: Doug the driver of the cart reminded me that as slow as the donkey was going, that is how fast the pioneers walked. I had to hang on for a couple of miles. The pioneers hung on or walked from the Eastern US to my area. Just wow.

What a fun adventure. I'd like just being around the horses. I love animals.

@LindaOhio You would have loved it- horses, donkey, half grown white mule, dogs, goats, chickens of all descriptions and sizes.

That's sure different. Not something you do everyday.
