Missing cat found nine years later in Idaho

Susan Moore who lives in Sanger California received the best news of her life on Monday that her cat that she adopted 11 years ago in an animal shelter in the same country town since she wanted to have a cat to keep her company. Susan believes that her cat Harriet sneaked aboard her husband's horse trailer nine years ago and when her husband's rodeo and the cat was picked up by someone who may have moved to Idaho. Since Harriet had a microchip implanted, she was taken in by a stranger who saw the cat wandering in the streets of Hayden Idaho on September 19 and taken to the Companions Animal Shelter which used to be the Kootenai Humane Society (KHS) where the veterinarians scanned her and found out who is the owner of the lost cat. A brother of Susan who lives in Lewiston since he moved to Idaho in January, he will travel to Hayden to pick up the cat and travel with Harriet back to California to reunite with her former owner soon. Susan has mentioned if Harriet could speak, she would tell Susan where she traveled from California where she traveled in the nine years she left her former owner's home and wound up in Idaho.
