Do you know what these are?

My cousin is a single mom and she sells anything you can think of. She posts pictures of what she sells on Facebook and people just contact her online. Last week she was selling Avon products and I bought a big bottle of moisturizing lotion. Today though this was what she was selling. I looked at the pictures and felt like laughing. Is she selling rocks? I sent her a pm and told her the pictures aren’t too pleasing to the eyes. Do you buy items based on how they look in the picture?

I'm not sure what those are. They look a little like potatoes and a little like rocks. Did you ask her why there are strings or wires around some of them?

@sol_cee Really? They don't look like sausages to me... I wouldn't mind trying one of them, though.

@DaddyEvil I know, bad photo. Really? Even if the casing is made from animal intestines?

they do look like shiny rocks, right? But actually it’s a local version of your link sausage

@LeaPea2417 @DaddyEvil said that sausages in the US also use animal intestines for their casing

If I am buying something that only has a picture I would want the picture to look like the product that it is supposed to be. I thought these were stones but your responses say sausages. Would be a little reluctant to buy them.

I saw an FB post of a man complaining about the bicycles he bought online. They were very cheap and he ordered three! When his bicycles arrived, they looked like in the photo yes but they were very small. So small they can all fit in your hands! Lolll

same size potatoes loll Yes, it’s a local version of your link sausages called longganisa. It’s typically made of lean meat and fat, along with garlic, black pepper, saltpeter, muscovado or brown sugar, and vinegar.

I love longganisa but the garlicky ones. I give it to your cousin for being proactive in selling online. It doesn’t hurt to do all those side hustles for her child. I actually take out the casing because I know what it is made of. But overall, it is one of my favorites for breakfast.

I take out the casing after boiling them too so when I fry them it’s only the meat and the garlic and all its goodness
