When a basketball gets stuck outside the hoop! / myLot

This has happened to me when my son and I occasionally play basketball. The ball gets stuck outside the hoop - it usually gets wedged between the hoop and the back board. Thankfully, we've always had a second ball to use and can knock this out with a few throws. Have you ever had this happen to you? How do you remove this basketball?!

Unlucky if the ball couldn't be taken away but lucky, because we could knock it down.

I have never had this happen before. I would think you would just knock it down with another basketball.

Yes, it's happened to me, and a second ball works best for dislodging it. I guess you could also get a step ladder and broom stick too. Guess we all need to shoot the ball higher, lol.
