Eli's School Report - 3rd Grade

So as I stated before this past week we went to see Eli's teacher for a Parent Teacher Conference. His teacher was very impressed with him. Other than his not talking much, and him getting distracted by the girls always talking to him...he is doing good. This teacher is more patient than his previous one (2nd grade teacher) so that is helpful with his talking issues. Now that the school year is progressing she wants him to start talking more and more though. He's in the 75 percentile and up in most testing areas which is awesome. In vocabulary he is in the 93rd percentile. In math they are moving onto fractions next week - but he is doing pretty good in multiplication so she is not worried about that. All in all he got a good report for the first (almost) 3 months of school. Photo is mine - Eli at his very first Halloween!

I am glad that he is as well. I always knew he was smart...I just didn't know if he was doing his work and getting it done in time, etc...

@MommyOfEli2013 It's always hard to tell what kids will do in school. And there's no real way to monitor them when they're away from us, either.

I'm glad he got a good report card! I hope he'll start opening up soon, or that he'll want to open up. I'm shy at times, so I get that it's hard.

I am glad too, we wondered when he seemed to not be reading as soon as some...but once he got into it, he really did well. Thanks, I hope he will too...although it seems to be more than just shyness. But I was shy all throughout school myself so I get it as well lol

Such a sweet Eli. I have a photo of Dustin very similar. Sounds like those girls are getting him in trouble. But all in all sounds like a good conference.

He will talk when he is comfortable and ready. Glad he is doing well academically. I was always one of the girls talking distracting anyone next to me . What an adorable photo of your little one on his first Halloween.
