How many siblings do you have?

It was my uncle's 66th birthday, and he lives in the province.
His siblings—including my mom—decided to surprise him by driving all the way from the city.
They brought food, gifts, and were fully prepared to burst into a loud rendition of "Happy Birthday" the moment they arrived.
There was just one problem.
Nobody was home. 
My uncle was out on his farm harvesting crops.
And since he didn't have a smartphone with him, there was no way to call and tell him to come back.
So someone actually had to go fetch him... Using a horse.
When he finally arrived and saw all of his brothers and sisters waiting for him, he broke down in tears.
The whole thing was captured on video, and I have to admit, it was really heartwarming to watch.
One of their brothers passed away last June, and I've noticed that the remaining siblings seem much closer now.
Maybe losing someone reminds us that time with family is precious and shouldn't be taken for granted.
Seeing them all together made me appreciate those bonds even more.
How about you? Are you close to your siblings? And when was the last time your family surprised someone for a special occasion?

I dont have siblings, thats why i always envy everyone who have siblings, like @DaddyEvil he has a lot of siblings that i never have.

No, not really. I talk with one of my older brothers and one of my sisters over the phone. I've seen my sister a couple of times in the last few months and talked with my brother today over the phone.

@sol_cee thanks JB girls although I did not have brothers or sisters of my own, I had cousin brothers and sisters. during my youth we lived in a joint family. So I loved the happy co-existence

That's lots of eggplant. His siblings are sweet to surprise him.
I am only close to two of my siblings. The other 3, it's a so-so.

@sol_cee my two brothers 5th and 6th siblings they are not that close to me. Because of age I guess. The second sibling, is in overseas. I am close with my sister and my 3rd sibling.

I have one sibling, a brother two years younger than me. We are separated by a great distance, but thanks to technology we can connect whenever we want to.

@sol_cee He lives in south Florida, I live in north Florida. We are separated by a distance of about 5 hours. That’s actually not too bad of a distance, now that I think about it.

I have one elder sister and two elder brothers. I'm the youngest in the family. But my elder sister passed away a few years ago.
