On Saturday, I talked a bit light-heartedly about fighting with your monster. I thought that was all I had to do and that would be the end of it. Then, late last night, I got a memo from the Big Editor In The Sky ((Many people call Her or Him God. Others simply call whatever it is Spooky Action At A Distance. Personally, I don't think labels matter. The bottom line is there is a force out there that we don't understand doing things we understand even less and what you call it doesn't make a difference)) that said, "You need to say a few words about what to do when you discover you're with a truly evil monster." Of course, I'm talking about the Amouranth live stream that exposed how cruel and abusive her husband is. I stand by my, "Don't Fight," advice and instead, in cases like that, advise, to borrow some apt phraseology from Charlie Daniels, "Run, like your head is on fire and your ass is catching." As if the verbal, emotional, financial and physical abuse aimed at her wasn't enough ((Spoiler Alert: It was way more than enough)), he went as far as to threaten to kill her dogs.
