Went to dinner with a friend on Friday and we stopped at the German discount grocery store Lidl on the way home. I picked up a "take and bake" pizza to have since our oven was finally working. It is 18" and bakes in 16 minutes (I didn't pre-heat the oven). No, it's not pizzeria crust, but the sauce is definitely comparable and the cheese is plentiful. This had pepperoni, which I can live without, but the dog likes it, so it gets eaten. This makes the third day in a row we've had pizza. I think I'll wait to have it again. I've had more than enough to last.

I bought something similar at Aldi, they sell more or less the same products as Lidl. I bought a package with two smaller pizza. The crust is surely not pizzeria, I added some fresh oregano, spicy oil and it was not too bad.

Yeah. They do use quality ingredients but for the price, can't beat it.

@jerzgirl It's not too bad for the price. I keep a couple in the freezer in case I have no time to cook.

Picture is posted now. It was too large and I had to reduce it.

He likes anything pizza. He gets excited when he hears the word pizza. But I meant the pepperoni.

That is a very good pizza that you purchased with your friend at Lidi's.

It wasn't bad at all. I don't think it's a yeast crust. Kind of has the texture of a biscuit or cakey crust. Still a great price. When I bought it, I wasn't expecting my daughter to order pizza two days in a row.

We usually get pizza from a pizzeria either by delivery or in person. It's always better that way. But this was very good and was meant to celebrate having a working oven again.
