My ecommerce site is finally up

In my earlier discussions, I had mentioned that I was retiring on 12th October. My son knew I was keen on starting my own eCommerce website so as a birthday gift he launched an eCommerce site for me on my birthday on the 13th. Since my retirement date is now 31st October I will launch the site on 1st November. I am now busy contacting suppliers and wholesalers to get the products. I have not yet informed anyone of the website because I will not be able to manage the orders along with my job. We will be selling jewellery, and home decor products and am also in touch with some clothes manufacturers so we will start selling clothes also. For now, only targeting the Indian market and maybe later will start selling globally after getting all the necessary licences.

Wow! That's quick. Good to plan and execute fast else the plan never gets executed. I can say that with my personal experience. A thoughtful gift from your son. . I wish you all the best with your new endeavor.

Thank you very much. I never though I would start this so soon. Just waiting for my last day at work so that the next day onwards I can officially tell everyone about the website.

@mayka123 It's always better to start soon. Else you might keep on planning and never execute. I have a domain name bought for my blog and other stuff site since the last October. It's been one year and I haven't done anything there. Now I plan to do it next year in the summer vacation. My job and chores leave very little time for me. Also, I get lazy. I have to really push myself and make it work. Good that your son has done it. And now you can start with it

Will consider selling globally in a year or so. Till then will find out the legal formalities that need to be done to sell globally.
