I've done this several times before. I plug my phone into the charger cable and after a few hours, i realise that I haven't switched on the main outlet!! I've heard this is a curse of modern times. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done this. Please convince me that I'm not the only one forgetful in mylot! Have you done this before??!!

The outlets in most homes in the US are always on. But yes, it's easy enough to forget something like that.

Is it good to leave a charger plugged in all the time?

@pitstop It doesn't matter. Chargers and phones have auto cutoff switches built into them. You can't overcharge a phone or burn out the charger by leaving them plugged in.

This happens sometimes. The worst is when we have to go outside for many hours and then this happens!! One can only curse herself or himself in such a case!! However it's a part of our everyday life !!

Thankfully I have a car charger that is helpful if we're leaving home.

@pitstop Do you also have a Power Bank? I think about it but have never purchased it.

@pitstop What could be the best Power Bank for basic usage (and one not too pricey)?

I have done this before. I thought my battery should have at least 30% but when I went to check, the main switch was off.
