We had a beautiful cashew tree that gave us joy for 20 years and one fine day it started shedding its leaves and died. Little did we realise that termites were eating its roots and that was the cause. I have written about this earlier and have even created a video giving a full history in its memory The tree was a haven for birds and squirrels and when the tree was bare almost overnight they were confused and we could hear their chirping asking questions as to what was going on.
