First Webcam Focus Group-Mock Jury Duty

So last week I had my first focus group where I was on webcam with a few people. It was a mock jury duty session and we basically was just talking about the case they wanted advice on. I found out about it through an ad on Facebook and while I was hesitant at first because I know it would be a live session, I wanted to get past my fear and give it a try (and let's not lie, earn some cash). Also, I've served on a jury before and actually did find it somewhat interesting so I figured I might as well give it a try and friends of mine have told me that doing mock jury duty online sometimes offers decent incentives. Now I have never done a webcam-type focus study but I've been doing surveys since high school as well as product testing. I have even done a few "diary studies" and text/forum discussions but nothing on the webcam. I've always enjoyed those and have thought about doing a few live ones, but just never had the courage to do so. It was a fun experience and now I wish I would have faced my fears sooner and participated in other focus studies via webcam I have been offered to do so. I'm definitely going to be looking for more to do because from what I've seen, the focus studies that involve being on webcam definitely offer a larger incentive compared to ones that just involve surveys or discussions via a forum.
