November 18, 1983, was the date when A Christmas story was released. Now almost 40 years later they decided to make a sequel to this original classic. The story is now supposed to take place as Ralphie is now grown up and the movie will be from a more grown-up perspective. I personally think it's too late to make a sequel and most movies in general are left better without sequels. What are your thoughts on this move? Will you watch it?

That is a horrible idea. Ralphie was a little boy in the original and it shouldn’t be changed. I watch it every Christmas.

@ecomjake I wouldn’t be interested to in the new show. I like little Ralphie.

In my opinion almost 40 years later is too late for a sequel of A Christmas story. I doubt it.

100 percent agree. I thought I saw somewhere they already did a sequel for the movie. But I saw this video on Youtube today.

I will, It's good to have another POV of the story. Just like Home Alone 2. I thought I wouldn't enjoy it, but I did. It was just as interesting as the first one. But I have to watch the first movie first, to be able to understand part 2. Thanks for the heads up.
