Do people fall in love these days

Do you think that nowadays people fall in love and have relationships easily, or are they more inclined towards quick relationships with the aim of having a good time? since the arrival of social media, people make acquaintances very easily, even friendly ones, but in my opinion, the relationships that develop through the internet when they become reality, do not last long.

It depends on the persons involved, whether it's an online or offline relationship. Getting to know the person better may be good for face-to-face encounters, but online, people sometimes reveal their innermost thoughts because they may think that the other person does not have to meet her/him in person. On the other hand, being physically present will test your compatibility in close proximity interactions.

@giorgia80 Social media relationship is a no go zone. Only 0.05% of it is genuine. 99.95% is flirting and nothing serious.

I really think it depends on the people, and I don't believe that fleeting relationships are a result of the Internet. I've known of couples stay together for years after meeting online just as I've known people have short relationships when meeting in real life. There have always been people having one-night stands or there for a good time, not a long time. The Internet has it's bad and good sides but there are loving couples, perhaps shy people who would otherwise never have found love, who met online.

Honestly nowdays I am surprised men and women arent 99% isolated from each other. It really depends on the people involved in the relationship I met one of my exes online and yes we did love each other.

I have known a few couples who've successfully married and gone on to have good lives. And I have known those who struggle. I met and married my husband the one-fashioned way. In-person.

This has to do more so on an individual level. Everyone is different I knew my husband for year we went to high school together. But we also knew we had a thing for each other just never explored because we were both chicken. Everyone is different for some people me my husband getting together dates 3 month, got married after another 3 of beignets just engaged, 3 months into marriage I was pregnant. To some that is fast but that just how it worked for us because of a friendship we already formed many years before then.

My personal take on this is its a case to case basis . It depends on both two people . There are couples who did not meet online and they did not end up together.

Love I guess is for teenagers only. For older people doesn't make sense anymore I guess. LOL
