Walking by the Creek taking Pictures

it looks like we might have rain today and we need it. When I went out to walk the ground seemed a little damp like we might have had a light shower during the night. The sky is completely clouded over so maybe we’ll have a good rain today.
I walked down by the creek with my cell phone out snapping pictures. I don’t know which is the most beautiful season, spring or fall. Due to the cloudy day my pictures aren’t as bright as I hoped, but you must strike while the irons hot. It might rain the rest of the week.
I hope all of you are having a beautiful day. When I have this discussion submitted, I’ll get off my ipad and answer comments on my laptop. I must get used to using it before my iPad folds. Everyone try to be good and enjoy the day.

@RubyHawk we have some really nice places to walk around here too but I would have to drive there and then walk.

@Marilynda1225 We also have nice walking trails in parks but this trail is nearby and my favorite. Nice that you have walking trails to enjoy.

Nice shot! The leaves are so gorgeous here now, I took a few on the way home. I found this amazing development too,..I passed by the street a couple of times and the road looked really nice and hilly, I decided to take it and I was very surprised to find a large development with new construction the houses were all really nice and some of them had an amazing view of the lake. It probably went 4 or 5 miles back..Some of these lake communities are really rather large. This was the nicest one I have seen.

Your title reminds me of one of my favorite poems. So does your photo.
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Robert Frost is my favorite poet. I like all his poetry. I have a book of his poetry that I haven't read for awhile. This reminds me to find the book and read it again. When I look again at the picture it does give me the same feeling as the poem, a quiet lonely feeling.

We do not have what is called Fall here and so I wait for myLotters to post pictures of the Fall. Your photo has leaves fallen on the ground.
