My coworker stole the lasagna!

I bring in leftovers at least once a week for a coworker of mine. I don't know if she is tight on money or just tight *with* money but she is always willing to take food that is leftover from school events. I don't really care what her reason is. I'm just glad to have someone to take some of it off of my hands. I left a container loaded with lasagna bolognese on what I thought was her desk. It has a big picture of her young son on it. A couple of minutes later my closest friend at work came into my room and said "is that lasagna supposed to be for (other teacher that shares her room)? Because I am totally taking it." I laughed and said she was welcome to it. On the way out at the end of the day she said that any food left on her desk was fair game. I told her I thought it was the other teacher's desk. (the rooms were renovated a year ago and I teach down the hall now) She said no it was her desk. Hey whatever. I'm just glad that someone else will enjoy it.

My wife's work often provides food, and they want to just throw it away. My wife always brings it home, and from time to time it is a lot. But you know I will make use of it—good or bad.

I'm that she enjoyed it. That's the important thing. That someone enjoyed it.
