Veronica - curtain creeper

This is a creeper that can be used as a drape in gardens. Some create 'umbrellas'. The creeper is decked on a iron umbrella and trimmed to size. They are seen in parks where visitors can sit under these umbrellas for shade. I have this creeper too and it is kind of an invader. I have not used it as a drape but it adds to the beauty of my garden when it hangs down in streamers. There is one such effect that works as a back drop to the statue in the bird bath. Once it enters a garden it is difficult to get rid of it. Image credit:

@allknowing the way it shows in the photo it would be a nice place to stand for photos. Yours sounds so pretty behind the bird bath statue.

The creeper does take over. Do you want them in your garden.

I want them in certain places but not everywhere. I am trying to create a design with them.

@jstory07 Not easy at all. We have to periodically pull them out

@allknowing Hmm....it would be tough to get rid of them if they invade the areas in the garden that we don't want them to.

I can imagine that could easily smother everything! But I do like the umbrella idea!
