The turkey is reared well in the countryside.

Few years back Indians used to think turkey as a foreign bird reared in USA and offered during thanks giving day. But this time when I went to countryside I found that turkey are reared well in the Indian villages as well. They are given food in the same way just like hen and ducks.

Yes turkeys can be fed just like hens and ducks. They run wild at the zoo.

I havven't seen a turkey in India. Maybe because I haven't travelled much

thanks Arjaita these days I am finding the resorts in different countries are rearing the turkeys like pets. They are pretty.
