I got a new spectacles from the "Lions Eye Hospital " as I broke my old one. It just broke it, neither did I drop it nor was it suppressed under anything.
I am glad we still have just a cheap eye hospital in my city. I got my eyes tested only for Rs.100 and my specks cost me only Rs. 1600.
Wish this hospital got more funds to get modern equipments for the hospital and good help them build a much better infrastructure to accommodate patients not only from my city but all over the state.

@aninditasen Wow, that’s amazing. My testing costs more than a hundred dollars and my glasses about a hundred and fifty dollars. I have my prescription and must go buy my glasses.

@RubyHawk It's pretty cheap in this hospital but much costlier in other eye clinics.

Thank you. Testing was Rs.100 which means a little above $1 and the spectacles Rs.1600 means about 8 to 9 dollars.

Nice pair of eyeglasses. How much is that compared to our Philippines currency? A dollar is equivalent to Php 55.00.

The 600 and 100 costs are quite economical for a good care.
Some Private Hospitals Opthamologist in OPD charge even 800 or 900 Rs. and the Government ones have too much of rush.

Here rates in private hospitals are quite high. This hospital is run by the Lions club and so is cheap.
