Boiled Eggs

This morning I woke up so early. Not typically my waking time so to speak. I usually wake up at 5:00. And my alarm clock does that for me. But I woke up at around 4:20 in the morning today. Actually I was awaken by a certain WhatsApp message from a dart client. He sent me a message to buy some dart accessories. The notification tone actually woke me up. I did not want to get up but I was thinking of the bills that I have to deal with for this month. I wanted to decline because I want to finish my sleeping time but I guess it was also an opportunity to entertain clients. So, I made him come to my place since he lived nearby only. It took him around less 20 minutes only. There, I was able to have a good deal of sale when he got to my place. It is good way to start the day with a good sale, isn't it? By the way, this is also my other way of earning extra money. So, after that sale, I still had around 10 minutes before 5:00 am, which is my waking-up time. What I did was made use of it by boiling eggs for my daily protein load. And so at exactly 5:00 I started boiling them and timed it for 15 minutes. Hahahaha. I don't know why I had to set it at 5:15 when I usually boil my eggs for 10 minutes. So, at 5:15 I realized I overboil my eggs. Hahahaha. At times we do make mistakes but anyway my boiled eggs are still not that hard to eat. They are still close to the usual way I cook them. How do you like your eggs boiled? For how long do you usually boil them? Do you think that I lost some nutrients of my eggs because I boiled them for 15 minutes? Do you like eating raw eggs? Is it healthier to eat raw eggs?

I boil eggs for 15 minutes. I don't want the yolk to still be runny. I can't eat them if the yolk is still runny. If you boil them you lose 18% of nutrients. Boil them longer than 15 minutes and you lose more nutrients.

I am picky too about my eggs ..boiled that is. I like to boil them for 5 minutes and turn the water off, let them sit for another 3 minutes, and perfect for me. A bit soft but not too soft

I boil my eggs during 10 minutes. Raw eggs are dangerous, no one eat raw eggs here. Eggs do not lose nutrients when boiled.

@Neil43 Well, only very little, not a lot, this is why I only boil 10 minutes, to retain more nutrients.

I make hard boiled eggs in the steamer these days. Don't have to stand over them and the machine goes 'Ding' when they are ready!

10 minutes is to little for me. I do 12 minutes. That’s great you got a sale already but I wouldn’t have wanted to get woken up.

I think you really started your day in the best way. Who wouldn’t love to see money the moment they open their eyes? atleast I would. Well I love eggs hard boiled only. With some salt and pepper. Most of the time I love boiled eggs mixed with Mayo and celery to make a good sandwich too. Hope you really had a good day because sale the first thing in morning sounds like a heck of a deal

If you like soft boiled eggs, it should be less than ten minutes.

I think I boil eggs for about 15 minutes, I don't make them often. No, I haven't had nor am I interested in eating raw eggs. Not sure if they are healthier to eat them raw or cooked. Glad you made a sale.
