My dream Bahay Kubo

This is a bahay kubo or nipa hut made of bamboo, nipa for the roof and sometimes sawali and concrete. I know most rich families here have one of this in their backyard or in their garden. I really want to have this but I can't afford for now and I still don't know where to fit it here in our space.
I love it because it is a great place to relax and eat and also sleep. You can hang out there and relax or entertain guest or have your family eat there together.
It comes in different designs and sizes. It can be small it can be big. Some have rooms where you can sleep. Some have no rooms just place to sit and a center table.
It is also use as cottages in resorts and beaches. It also use as cottages for open air restaurants.

@RubyHawk No we are not inside a subdivision. When we say compound that is the property, house and lot of a certain family. It is surrounded by walls and gates to separate us from our neighbor which is a different family. Ours is San Diego compound because it is our place in the community

@averygirl72 Well you need to plan it out and take measurements if you can still accommodate them in your place. And of course, you have to consider if you can afford to buy them.

I have no idea how much it cost. I see them in one town on the side of the road. I always look at them when I pass by. We still have some space for it but not sure of the perfect location

Oh wow I love this. I’m not a fan of the green stuff on the roof but the rest is so beautiful! What a relaxing place to sit. I’d love to read books there.

The green stuff on the roof is like a green plastic net that covers the roof. It looks relaxing and yes I would also love to read books there

I want this design! There are other designs that have room, but that is too big already. I like the simple one like that on the photo.
