Another Earth-shattering Discovery from The Horse!

I am world-famous for discovering/inventing many things, including pasta with olive oil and Parmesan cheese, and applying orange oil to restored vintage loudspeakers with 0000 steel wool. Knowledge of said discoveries has spread to India, Australia, the US (outside of California), Canada, Israel, Switzerland, and even Germany.
But my latest discovery may be the most significant of all: how to prepare rice for leftover Thai curry.
When I combine leftover rice with leftover Thai curry in a frying pan a day or two after the original purchase and feast, the result falls short of what I experienced when I first brought the take-out Thai delight home.
A couple of evenings ago, I tried something new: I added just a bit of water, olive oil, and sorreno pepper to the curried chicken and cooked it up, at the high end of "low" on my stove. But I left the rice separate and put it, with a bit of added water and butter, into the oven at 225 degrees.
The result was delicious! The curry was liquid, flavorful and slightly spicy. The rice was soft and fluffy and...well...buttery.
Please don't share this secret with non-MyLotters until I have patented it, or copyrighted it, or whatever. Do you have "special" things you do with leftovers? Your secret is safe with me and other fellow MyLotters, I am quite sure.

That's a common thing in India as well. In kolkata, we call it 'Bhat bhaja'

@BarBaraPrz No, it looks like red Thai curry with chicken and beef. Barf generally comes in smaller and more uniform particles.

I'm sorry you're forced to eat rice at all, pony... If you need food, all you have to do is ask and I'll mail you something fit to eat.
Did I share the scrambled eggs with onions and bell peppers I made yesterday with you? It was delicious.
Photo is mine.

@TheHorse I won't eat rice.
I always add shredded Colby cheese to my scrambled eggs...

Go ahead with the patent.
Many a times, some bit of simple experimentation with the left overs can come out surprisingly good and are a real treat to the taste buds

I like to heat leftover rice in the oven and use a bit of water and butter, also. Sometimes, I use broth rather than water. Cover it and heat a bit, it's always fluffy and tastes great that way.

@Dreamerby I'm glad I like rice. So many of the foods I enjoy involve rice: Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese.
