Have you visited the grave of your loved one this day, All Souls day?

I didn't visit the grave of my parents, 3 brothers and Seg the memorial parks are so far and I don't drive long distance places this time afraid my head nerves ache that cause me to get dizzy. My niece drives her car but good for her mom and kids. My other niece from UK hitched the van of her brother in law good for two families. I'm not happy for every year I don't miss to visit my beloveds who passed away. I'm so sure, God allows them to stay on their resting place to meet their living and loving family and I'm absent, hoping for their kind understanding. My deepest apology especially to my parents. @cacay1 We took the ashes to a hill and placed them there.

@marguicha are the ashes placed on a solid jar? Why not in a cemetery so you can visit during their days.

We didn't go out anymore but we visited my mother-in-law about two weeks ago to avoid the crowds in the cemetery. We just lit a candle in our house today for them.

@rsa101, there's also storm there, it's not safe to go. I noticed every All Souls day it rains, land, road, passage wet and slippery.

@rsa101, that's a relief but having rain almost daily is like having a signal 1 storm.

I wasnt able to go to my father's grave as well. The weather was awful and we were flooded. I spent the day washing wet clothes.

Traditionally we're doing that. There's a bit delay for my family to visit our departed loved ones due to heavy rains in the morning.

We can only do what we can from wherever we are . . . your thoughts of your loved ones are always present. I think they would understand. My father passed away just over a week ago (this is why I haven't been around here in the past month). These are things I will be thinking about now as he is put in his final resting place soon.

I'm sorry you couldn't go to your parents' graves. It's not a common practice here.

@just4him it's the common practice here to most Roman Catholics and other religions.
