I thought I would just quickly share this with you. Most of my posts end up being rather long and rambling but this is just a quickie, as it were. Cycling home yesterday I passed this house where the inhabitants had decorated the entrance with this enormous spider. It was a simple idea but quite an arresting sight! So do you pay them? I think scientists should find ways to use the cobwebs...kinda, then it will be pleasure to have these decorations...

Idea for what...it is stifling the poor plant...looks like an alien...with all dripping saliva...did you watch Aliens movie...terrifying. Only Americans can think of something that scary....

@vandana7 I love decorations for the holidays. I doubt that it will be up long enough to harm the bush. Halloween is over. I loved “Aliens”. I’ve seen it numerous times. I like being scared by a movie. The scarier the better.

That is kind of cool actually. I don't usually get into the decorations but this one is cool. I like the way it wraps around the hedge.

It is actually rather realistic in a strange sort of way. When you go out on a cool autumn morning you often see bushes covered in lots of spider webs almost like that - although much much smaller, thankfully!

@Fleura I know, I was gonna add that I don't like spiders but i like this one. Maybe it is sort of realistic.
