do u think we have become more insensitive to our parents these days

Lack of patience and time is one factor .. everyone is in a hurry to reach their destination as early as possible .. no one really has the time for family and parents .. and moreover parents are nothign but obstacles in doing what one wants .. who wants to explain and convince someone to do what they want to .. everyone wants to do their own thing and if parents say something in opposition then being rude can help get rid of them ..

I have noticed too that especially teens nowadays have less respect for their parents. I don't know if it is because the parents done pay enough attention or if they don't discipline tham enough. I know when I was younger if I talked to my parents like kids do nowadays. I would still at my age not be able to sit becasue my tush would still hurt.
