Good Friday Morning

It's still dark at 4 in the morning. I've been up since 1. You could say, I've had a troubled mind that kept me from a decent night's sleep. Considering that I'm getting my car taken care of this morning, I don't know if I'll take a nap today.
Today will be cooler, rainy, and windy. It's a good thing the person fixing my car will be working in his son's garage. As for me, I'll be covered in dog hair as I get my fur baby fix while he fixes my car. Lucy is a beautiful golden retriever. You know that means lots of hair. I don't mind. I just won't wear a hoodie.
I'll be leaving here right after the exercise class. It will probably take all morning to get the car taken care of. He's bleeding the brakes, giving it an oil change, it's low on the transmission fluid and power steering fluid. I think he might also look at the problem with my windshield wiper fluid. It doesn't work. He thinks it might be the pump.
As for my troubled mind. It has to do with a movie I watched last night. I'm going to change my rating from like to dislike. It had two well-known actors in it, but the moral compass is off. It also had me thinking about how I could work it to make it much better. I smell a new book being born. I already have the title.
With being awake so early, I have my Bible study done, and my games played. I'll take care of the notifications, and most likely work on a book before I eat and go to exercise class. It looks like I'll accomplish a lot today.
I want to get at least 5K words written before tomorrow night. I don't work on the computer on Sunday, so I want to get as much written as possible. We'll see how today plays out.
How is your day going? I know part of the world has been awake for hours.

Here day breaks at 6 am.It stays fine lately,neither hot nor cold.You always lose no time working on your book .

I have days like that when things keep me awake. I usually take a nap when that happens. I don't see that happening today unless I go back to bed right now. I couldn't sleep. I'm wide awake.
I'm sure all your canning will be useful during the winter months.

Good morning! I hope everything with your car will be easy fixes so cheap to fix.
I was awake, like always, but when people stop talking with me I start watching movies or reading a book... (I like watching people playing an online game called Among Us. Some of the people are really funny. *shrug*)
I just fed the fishies and took my morning meds... Thankfully, I no longer need evening meds. Most of the time my BP is under control and I don't need a morning or evening med for it. (I just have to check my BP at 6 am and 6 pm to see if I need to take the BP meds... I haven't needed a pill in a couple of weeks now.)
Pretty and I will be going grocery shopping this morning and then I'll be going to sleep for the day. I hope you have a good rest-of-your-day.

@just4him Thanks... Since I left Walmart, I've been needing the BP meds less and less... I wonder what that says about things.

Speaking of games, if you're looking for another income stream, you might look at an app called Mistplay. It has tons of different games available and Pretty and I have been playing games on it and making around $100 a month each there. I guess it depends on the type of games you like to play, too. I prefer types of solitaire and she plays other types of games.

I was snoring at 1am You do sound like you have a million things running through your head today.
Hope things go well with the car and you enjoy your time with Lucy. Golden Retrievers really are beautiful dogs. My daughter used to have one and he was the most docile dog I ever met.
Today I'm working on a grocery list and finding that things are still pricey.

@just4him maybe I'll lose weight if I don't buy groceries either lol
I have 2 supermarkets about a mile apart from each other. One is selling Thomas English muffins for $5.29 (6 pk) while the other has the exact same ones for $3.18(go figure). Of course I'll get them at yhe cheaper store but isn't that crazy

@Marilynda1225 Yes, it's crazy. Gas stations work on the same concept. You can't find the same price even at the same gas station franchise.

I wish I was. However, it was to my benefit to be up that early.
I'll see Lucy tomorrow. I couldn't get the car done today as the man who is doing it forgot he had a therapy appointment, and then he couldn't use his son's garage when he got done with that. So, tomorrow he'll get it done.
Prices are terrible! It's the fourth and I've already used all my food budget. I really didn't get that much either.
If I can't buy groceries, I'll lose weight. Now, there's a thought.

That was its intent. Yes, they can. I changed the like to dislike and felt better about it since.
My writing is going well. I think I got about 1500 words today, so far. Not the 6000 I wanted, but at least I'm writing.

I woke up about 8AM this morning. I was blessed to spend time with the Lord in prayer:) Jay is going to the city, I might just stay home and do yard work. Our leaves are awful again!

I went to be just after 11pm but couldn't shut my brain off until well after 1am (I remember looking at the clock radio and seeing 1:11). Consequently, I didn't get up until after 8am.
