Georgia on my mind?

So, my daughter came in from work and piddled around for a little bit and then turned and asked me, "What would you think about living in Georgia? We could get a bigger house for way less money and I could get paid almost double what I'm getting paid here."
It's interesting because there are at least seven people from my high school who have moved there, two who recently retired to there. I also have a cousin who lives there (the sculptor of the Athena statue in Athens) who I'd love to see more than once every 25-30 years.
My benefits would be lower, but with expenses also lower and her with more income, it might just balance out.
The only thing I see as a downside is the uncomfortable heat and humidity of southern summers. They're bad enough here. They're worse there. So, wherever we'd live would have to have air conditioning or it'll be migraine city.
I know those of you who read my last post about my daughter might wonder if I'm a fool, but she's been a part of my life for 36 years and I, for the most part, know what to expect from her. Plus, I can't afford to go on my own anymore without being a dependent of the state. She can make me laugh like no one else except her brother. I don't laugh much, so it feels good when they set me off.
I have no idea if this will happen, but sometimes it's fun to consider the possibilities. New adventures, new life.

I wish you the very best of luck and I don't think Georgia would be so bad, I hope it all works out for you,
