It rained last night!

I didn't notice it until I went shopping just now, but it rained here last night. I guess I could not see that the pavement was wet in the early morning light (I checked).
I see some small puddles outside and my succulents are quite happy. I also noticed last night that my Winter snow peas are starting to poke through.
I'll check the forecast to see if any more rain is predicted over the next few days. I hope my friends up and down the Coast got some rain as well.
Have you had rain recently?

@Gnana_Helps Is the Southern part of India generally warmer? Is the rainy season different from Northern India? Here in the US, we have many different climates.

@TheHorse The southern part of India. No, it isn't...its winter here. But sometimes it rains and its refreshing(in summers) not in winter.

I'm glad they're growing for you. I wish there were veggies we could grow during our Winter but there aren't...

We had rain last night as well. Our back yard is quite wet. I'm really glad we got the Halloween inflatables taken down and put away yesterday while it was still dry!

@TheHorse I can't tell if the succulents are happy or not. Some of them are a bit red-tinged... doesn't that mean they have too much water?

@spiderdust I am honestly not sure! Any jade experts here on MyLot? Mine tend to get the most red in the Summer months when things are dry. They seem to enjoy our Winters, with cool sunshine and occasional rain. I am doing some "succulent experiments" on my balcony, seeing which ones survive being cut (with a pocket knife) and transplanted. So far, various succulents (including, of course, my original jade plants), are doing well.

We are OK on rain. I wish the whole area that is in drought would receive some rain. The Mississippi is drying up too! Bad situation.

Yep, it rained down here in Atascadero California. I always check outside when I first get up, and today it was still raining. I had to go out in it to take some stuff down to the trash and also store some stuff in my storage locker. I'm about to go out for a third time to check the mail...I just took a peek and discovered it's still raining. Yipppeeee! Boy did we need the rain!

Yes, just the night before, night rain. Glad your garden is doing well! Are you going to watch Red Blood Moon Lunar eclipse tonight? I hope I remember and have clear skies to see Moon, tonight.
