Going back to come back..

Good morning from this side of the world. It's 8:45 AM here and another sunny bright morning with a pleasant breeze .
I am done with my first one to one session with my Kindergarten child. We did enjoy some singing at the end of the session. And I am done with the sessions at the work for today. My next two sessions are cancelled for today as the two students are from Primary school and the two classes are going for a class picnic today. I am not assigned to go with them and so I am free. I will start for home in 5 minutes. Going back home so early .
But then I have to come back at 1:30 to school for a Teacher's meeting. It's a meeting for the Pre Primary teachers and being an academic coordinator, I have to be there. It will go for two hours.
So, it's going and coming back again. Since it's a 10 minutes walk , it's no issues with me. I can go back home and spend a couple of hours, finish few things and then come back for the meeting.
I need to address the meeting with few issues that parents from Pre primary raised during the PTM on Friday. Need to compile them, once I go home and bring them in the afternoon.
Catch you later.
Hope all going well in your mylot corner. I will try to do some mylotting in between my chores
Bye for now.

Or, and this is just a suggestion, you could take a nap and not return to school today.

@DaddyEvil I missed my afternoon nap. Today though I had time, I could not come here much. I finished few things that were pending. It feels good now.

@arunima25 - I was happy when I could walk to my working place. After they moved their office it took 45 minutes to go there using public transport.

That's the best thing I like, working at a walkable distance from home. My last school where I worked was pretty far. I worked full time there for close to ten years. But then the commute in the heavy traffic took so long and it took a toll on my health.

@LadyDuck Walking to work is a luxury in a place like Bangalore. Bangalore ranks number one in the worst traffic in the world followed by Manilla.

Nice that your work place is just a 10 minute walk. I had to take a bus that took an hour to reach my work place. The bus was a private one that picked me from my place.

That's the best thing about this work place. My last school where I worked for almost ten years was a little far. And in the last few years, with increasing traffic, the commutation time increased upto 1 to 2 hours one way from 20 minutes when I started the job. I drove and had to cross one of the busiest junction in the city every morning. Things got worse with metro construction coming up. And all this added to the mental stress and took a toll on my health. I loved that school and I am still associated with them for teachers workshop once every three months. I had to leave the school with heavy heart due to the hassles of daily commutation.

@arunima25 I never quite online work but gap was some more. It is because of my backaches problem. Before some days I also have problem with my laptop it was too much slow but now it is ok but my backaches problem is like earlier. I have problem in sitting for long time.

@anil02 Oh! I see. Backaches can be really annoying and limit our lives. I do get them if I overstretch myself. It seems that after covid, my physical strength and stamina is not same. I get tired easily, get aches and pains frequently. Well, we have to listen to our body and manage life. I am also not for too long online, though I visit it daily.
Take care. Sending positive thoughts and vibes

Oh! Thank you so much for your kind words. I try to use time judiciously but then I am not always able to do it. I still have to improve on my time management skills.
How are you doing? Good to see you being active again in cyberspace.

Hey, Good to hear from you. I think you are busy with your new job. Hope you are enjoying it.
How are your mom and brother now?

This school is just 5_10 minutes walk and saves me time in commutation to do other stuff. Also, not facing the traffic is a big mental relief.

@arunima25 Glad to know. I declined the job offer as I had to take care of mom and manage things at home. They are doing well. I am not getting time for myself just busy whole day, so not visiting here often. Let's see what the future holds

Actually, my home is very near. It takes me just 7_10 minutes to walk to my work. If I take my car, I take more time as the street has huge traffic .
So, it's not complicated. If I have a long break, I can come home, finish few things or rest and then go back.

@JudyEv Yes. I live here since a long time. But I chose my first work far from here. Now I think that distance does matter

I joined this school a year before pandemic.
