First of all, don't forget to vote today!!!
My husband's cousin came over yesterday and did quite a few non-cleaning things for us. There are so many things we can't do anymore; and she helps us so much!
Nothing much going on here. How about in your part of the world?
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes, beets (yuck!) and fruit cocktail
Dessert/Snack - Cinnamon muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - Corn dog and potato salad
What did you eat yesterday?

We wanted to go watch the lunar eclipse tonight but there was too much cloud cover here. We couldn't see anything.
No breakfast, I made pesto noodles with smoked turkey bits in it for lunch and had another bowl of the noodles and turkey for supper. It was really delicious.
I hope you enjoy your day.

I didn't know about the eclipse until it was too late. Your meals sound good. Thanks. You enjoy your day too..

@LindaOHio I wish JJ was still around. He would have posted pictures of the eclipse for us to see.
Thank you and you're welcome.

We had clouds too. I thought it would clear up and get better, but it didn't really do that. The best I can say is that I saw part of the eclipse.

I used to get them at the county fair all the time. Now you can buy them frozen.

I did not eat much yesterday so I´m quite hungry today. I´ll check if I have any pesto left. If I don´t, today I´ll cook some rice to serve with my leftover salmon.

@LindaOHio I am drinking, that is all that I can do.
No hot drinks though, they seem to hurt my throat.

@LindaOHio grocery day last week did not go as planned. I put in my order and people were stocking up with the storm we had but I got my groceries on Friday and now all is all right but did not get the cat fooo I expected so I have to solve that problem but they still have foood.

Your meals sound delicious to me, I want to try them one of these days.
For me, as usual, I did not have any breakfast but I forced myself to eat one banana.
For lunch, I'm still thinking about it. I'm wondering what my DIL is planning for lunch. But surely, there would be rice for lunch and dinner.
I would like to try the protein bar, cinnamon muffin, decaf coffee, and Corn dog and potato salad. Thank you for providing a healthy menu.

I haven't had stuffed cabbage in ages (yum)
Yesterday we had chicken (again) with baked potatoes and broccoli
Glad your husbands cousin was able to help you get some stuff done. I can totally relate to not being able to do a lot of things anymore. I have to rely on help too at times.
Was wondering...how's your hubby doing with his AFIB?

@LindaOHio I'm sorry to hear he's still in AFIB. Those Apple watches certainly are amazing at what they can do.

@Marilynda1225 He also has a gadget that we bought that will tell him what his heart is doing. We had to get a new charging cord for it.

You reminded me that I'm hoping to make some cabbage rolls soon. I need to find a recipe for a low carb version (which probably means cauliflower rice, which I'm not crazy about).

@LindaOHio I grew up in Pennsylvania in an area with a large Polish-German population, so we frequently saw cabbage rolls at church dinners and such. Strangely, the ones I saw the most often used canned tomato soup in the sauce!
My ex-husband's father used to make some with "sourheads", which I guess was like whole heads of cabbage made into sauerkraut, and then using those leaves to wrap the rolls. He's the only one I knew who did this, but I'm sure it can't be completely unusual.

@spiderdust We use tomato sauce as part of the liquid but not tomato soup! We layer our cabbage rolls with sauerkraut...lots of it. My husband loves sauerkraut.

Brunch leftover chorizo and rice. Cooked little Little Smokies in case chorizo not enough. Dinner persimmon and apple pieces with peanut butter. Nothing but election day today. I've a little trepidation with my jaw probably from my ear. Have a Thursday appointment with doctor. Nothing iminent, so I'm not worried. Si glad you've got good family to help you & husband.

That was sweet of your cousin-in-law. I wish I had read this first, I would’ve voted for her!!!
Beets? I’d report them for elder abuse!
I did go three days without Chuy’s so it was chicken taco salad (free because I’d filled my lunch card up), with broccoli & pasta Alfredo for dinner. Apples and bananas and yogurt, oh my!
