A bit of good news this morning.

Around nine o'clock, someone approached our house and our power begun to flicker for the next half hour. It was FPL switching our power meter for a new one. I have to say, the timing is perfect, too. Subtropical Nicole Is about to hit us. Should make landfall in the early hours of Thursday, and be gone by late Thursday early Friday. They never last long, but the impacts can be bad. Today and tomorrow we'll see more rain and wind. That's the worst. Our system can eventually be turned on, hoping soon. So yay.

Hope that NIcole doesn't turn out to be a fierce storm and cause more problems for Florida.
Glad you got your power meter replaced and that it wasn't a power issue causing the flickering

Us, too. I was telling my husband, if it's not done today or tomorrow then it likely wouldn't happen until next week. But it got done, so yay.

Good thing that is what the flickering was. That would make me nervous.
