I am disappointed, disheartened, angry, disillusioned and morbidly depressed in a bigly yuge kind of way. Because of the Election. As such, I don't want to talk about politics. Maybe for a few minutes. Maybe for a few hours. Maybe forever. We'll see what happens. Fortunately or unfortunately (That's a Judgement Call that I'll leave in your capable hands), not every dimension of my life entirely revolves around Politics. One of them is my Writing Side Hustle. I don't want to do anything with it, either, today, but my Agent, Drusilla, and my Publisher, Simon Bar Sinister, have dissenting opinions. They barged into my office a little while ago and said, "Sir, you really need a hit! A Literary Landslide, if you will, Sir. It's been a long time, Sir, and you really need to correct that unsatisfactory state of affairs with a Stephen King Sized Best Seller." They fakely, unfairly and dishonestly droned on and on like that until I had had enough. To make them shut up, I said, "How about something based on Non-Sexual Fetishes? It'll sell a few million copies and then, at the very least, we'll end up with a 38-episode NetFlix deal." Dru said, "I really love the sex part and I do enjoy fetishes. I'm not crazy about the "Non" part but, all in all, I suppose it's the best I can I hope for from you this morning, so go with it." So that's how I'm going to be spending the next twenty minutes of my life. Beginning, fleshing out and completing this Non-Sexual Fetishes Project.
