If you step out of your home at around 7 am in the morning, and cold winds are circulating about; that means the Winters have unofficially started!!
If you ask me when they started officially, I don't have a fixed date but it could already have been Winters officially.
So well, Sweater is out at least for the early morning.
The other update from my side is that I recently did a short travel trip.
I plan to share about it in not one, but multiple posts.
It would be exciting for me, plus I think that you folks would also enjoy it.(My guess but well no hazard in guessing !!! ).
Enjoy your Friday and do share how it went?

It was 25.5 C here today and tomorrow morning it is supposed to be -7 C. Is that what you mean by "sweater weather"? Personally, if I need to go outside in the morning, I'll be wearing a heavy winter coat.
And yes, I'm sure we'll enjoy hearing about your travels. Looking forward to your future discussions.

25.5 C to -7C : Oh that is a big big drop!!
I generally wear a sweater somewhere below 20 C, except if there are cold winds even at 22 C !!
The wind chill factor makes a lot of difference.

So would lowering your House temperature to 20 C or even a little bit lower lead to some Energy savings?

Enjoy your time. I have not caught up on your posts of late.
For 2 days at least, we were trying to overcome the disappointment bought by India's shock 10 wicket defeat to England in the T 20 world cup semis.
Anyways, life goes on...

Yes, a lot of analysis has already been done in the media and by the cricket experts.
The Indian T 20 team will see some drastic changes.

Well, there is no official date for winter to arrive in our country. But then if I go by the saying of our previous generation, it starts with Diwali and ends with Holi. My grandparents would say that with lighting of diya, the season for lighting fire each night for warmth begins. And holika dahan is the beginning of summer as Holi marks the end of spring.
But with Global warming and climate change, it is crazy and unpredictable. This year, I feel the drop in temperature is sharp for November. Even Bangalore is getting chill.

Yes, the weather unpredictability has increased so much.
At times, sharp cold weather is followed by many days of sudden warm weather.
Winter rains used to be a light drizzle but can be more intense now.

Well, light but warm jackets if available could be more handy.
At times, I prefer Jackets over Sweaters especially during that time of the winters when cold winds blow.

Overall, it is still pleasant. The mornings are slightly cold but manageable with just a single sweater.

Yes, this was a Pixabay picture.
However, in some of the upper Himalayas within India, you can find such snow covered areas.
Many areas are above 3000 or even 5000 M above sea level.

That is nice that you are doing some travelling. It will be chilly here come December to February but no winder/snowfall.

The Travel is done. I have details and pictures but too much for a single post, so just wait a little bit.
Wishing you a nice Friday !!
