My nephew Charles is getting married in December in Calgary, Canada. He met his fiancee, a Japanese Canadian, three years ago when he and my brother's family visited Calgary. They joined a 3-day local tour to The Rockies. Charles met his now fiancee who also joined the tour with her family. According to my brother, they fell for each other immediately. They were always together during the trip. When Charles returned to Hong Kong, they kept in touch on the net. One day, Charles told my brother he found a job in Calgary and he would relocate and work there. My brother and my sister-in-law were shocked. But they respected his decision. After staying in Calgary for one year. Charles decided to get married. I wish them the best of luck and happiness. In fact, Charles and his fiancee just met for three days and they kept in touch only on the net. Charles has a pretty decent job in Hong Kong. It was really for love that Charles looked for a job in Calgary and decided to stay there. Do you think that this is love at first sight?

I consider it sufficient proof that a person is deeply in love with someone when they decide to leave everything behind and start over somewhere else. They appear to have been meant to be together from the moment they met, so I simply hope they find happiness.

Thank you. I'm glad that they at least spent some time together in Calgary before getting married.

I think so. Just as the saying here: People a thousand li (= 0.5 km) apart may be linked by marriage.Hope they two live together to a ripe old age !

Apparently, they were attracted to each other when they first met. I'm not sure if that is "love". May be their love deepened when they communicated on the net and after my nephew went to Calgary to work.

Love is such a thing that anything is possible. It's upto two individuals who decides in what duration and when to take big step. It always differs. It might be possible love at first sight. Glad to know about your nephew. Congratulations to him and you enjoy his wedding
