Hello MyLotters,
It's so timely to suddenly remember that I have a myLot account. It's been a mixed 5 years filled with ups and downs, and lots of new experiences.
My last post was almost 5 years ago, and I guess it's about time to add some updates here and there. I find it helpful to add some posts to help remind myself of what I've been through, and what challenges I have overcame.
So my last post was me entering a new stage in life, which is starting out on a career. My first and second years were not that exciting. Mostly me learning the ropes on how corporate world works. Made a lot of good friends in my first company, and made lots of wonderful memories together.
This was also a time where I have learned to live a healthy lifestyle, and invest in my health by exercising, and learning about nutrition. I also gained a lot of confidence when I gained a good amount of muscles here and there.
The following years is when the global pandemic struck. I was lucky to still have my job, and changed my job for the first time to explore more of what my career has to offer, gain a new set of skills that will be valuable. Also learned to managed my finances and learned how to invest properly.
Looking back, I have grown quite a lot. It might not look like it years ago, but now I'm on my third job and learning and earning so much more than when I have started. In fairly good shape, and although just starting out to learn how to save and invest for emergencies.
So this is my story up to this point. Still hope to grow in other aspects, and find out more on my capabilities.
So My Lotters, what do you guys want to improve on? Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

That's great to hear! I hope I can retire as gracefully as you. Cheers!

I have stagnated in certain areas of life. I wish to get out of stagnation.

There were times when I felt stagnant as well. An advice one of my friends told me is to take it one day at a time.
Take all the time you need to rest and reflect on what you want to do next. When you're ready, you can always start small, and improve little by little on your own pace.
I wish you all the best!
