Our new altar

Good carpenters here are hard to come by and so when we got these carpenters doing up our mosquito nets I looked around for other jobs that needed repair/replacement.
Our old altar badly needed replacement. I picked up this simple design and they worked on it. I am satisfied with the results. They used the flexible sheets and got the borders painted to match the decor around. The light is kept on 24 hours of the day.
No doubt they kept me on my toes but I am glad everything that needed repair/replacement is attended to. Since I no longer look for perfection no redoing things (lol)
This part of the year is when we spruce up Solitaire and we will soon have our compound wall, gates and borders of garden paths painted.
Any replacement/repair work at your end?

Better to have something simple than give a project where I would not know if they could handle it.

Which floor do you live on? Was it inconvenient when the work was going on?

@allknowing We had workers in the house 4 years ago, I hope that we do not need new repairs for a while.

I have reduced my 'perfection' scale and so satisfied (lol)
